I have 14+ years of experience working as a contentious probate and trusts dispute solicitor and with a First Class Honours degree in Law from Exeter University.
I work in partnership with Slee Blackwell Solicitors LLP, having previously worked for the firm for many years starting in 2008 as a paralegal then training and qualifying as a Solicitor with the firm in 2011.
I briefly flew the nest for the bright lights of a London practice in 2014, where I established a highly successful contentious probate department from scratch, before returning to my roots at Slee Blackwell in 2020 as a Partner.
From 2025 I am now on a new exciting journey working with my family consultancy company but will continue to provide the absolute best client care to often the most vulnerable of clients.
I am a full member of ACTAPS (the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) since 2016. I have specialised in inheritance and trusts litigation throughout my career and have extensive experience in this specialist area of work, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975, challenges to the validity of wills, claims to set aside lifetime gifts/transfers (including pursuit of complex civil fraud claims), and trust & executor disputes. I also have extensive expertise in beneficial interest cases, such as proprietary estoppel, TOLATA claims, and family farming disputes, in which I have a keen interest.
I am passionate about this area of law and a tenacious litigator. I do all I can to spread the message to those who are nervous about exploring their legal rights (especially the most vulnerable of clients) that I am here to help.
